Little Legault's
'Moody Bohemian' - Two busy littles with a love for all things nature; aged two & four.
This bonus room turned playroom is an extension of the rest of the family home.
This playroom not only functions as a play space, but also second living room & guest sleeping quarters. In keeping with the home's existing aesthetic, we opted for a more neutral palette; black and white with warm woods, natural elements & plants.
Limiting brightly coloured plastic toys and opting for more natural objects and woven baskets for storage keeps with the environmentally mindful nature of this home. Eclectic pieces from travels are thoughtfully placed throughout. Complete with kids kitchen & role play area.
Miss Lakelyn
"Warm & inviting girls room' - this little girl is transitioning from nursery to big kid bedroom.
This space all started with a blanket & the colour pink.
The centre of the inspiration for this girls bedroom was Lakelyn's Frozen blanket (pictured along the bottom). I created a beautiful colour palette from colours found within it; a colour-way of soft purples, pinks & blues to be used as accent colours; bedding, decor, and wall decals.
As requested, pink was chosen for the wall colour - we opted for a soft pink. White furniture keeps this sweet space light & bright. A child-sized chair & cozy faux-fur rug create a calming book nook and space for rest, relaxation, & reading.
