DIY Holiday Smelling Jars

Explore different holiday-inspired scents with these simple smelling jars!

An excellent fine motor activity, opening/closing the jars is so great for those little hand muscles.

Materials:

• FREE Planted Creative Holiday Smelling Jars Mat Printable

• 6 spice jars with lids (from Dollarama)

• cotton balls, essential oils & spices/extracts (as listed on mat)

• tray / container

How To:

1. Open jars and set lids aside. Add a single cotton ball to each jar.

2. Add a couple drops of your essential oils and/or extracts & spices to each cotton ball.

3. Replace lids.

4. Place the jars in a container and set beside the scent mat.

5. Open the lid & smell. Replace the lid, guess the scent, & place on the mat!
