DIY Lavender Dough
This all natural homemade lavender sensory play dough smells heavenly and is giving us all the spring vibes! Make this simple, calming dough with your littles & include this activity as an extension of your play.
The first glance of spring has arrived. The snow has melted, the birds are chirping, and though it is still too early for flowers in bloom, we are diving into our All About Spring learning! What better place to start than with learning about flowers?!
As an early years preschool teacher, I have made & tried my fair share of homemade play dough recipes over the years; some good batches, and even more terrible ones. This particular recipe has worked great every time and has become our new go-to!
Lavender Dough Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tbsp cream of tartar
2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil
1.5 cups boiling water
3 drops lavender essential oil
extra flour for kneading
Combine | Cool | Knead | PLAY!
