Lemon Dough
This no-bake, all natural homemade lemon sensory play dough smells so fresh and is giving us all the summer vibes! Make this simple, energizing dough with your littles & include this activity as an extension of your play.
No need to use the stove with this recipe; perfect for making in the classroom! Simply boil water in a kettle. I added some regular yellow food colouring to the water, but it didn't change the colour of the dough much. I would suggest using a gel food colouring if you'd like a more vibrant shade of yellow.
We used Art Naturals lemon essential oil. You can use any lemon essential oil, but if you don't have any, try using lemon extract.
For additional learning, we used letters to spell lemon and toy lemon pieces for pressing lemon shapes.
