Valentines Sensory Bin Scavenger Hunt

Sight words & counting & colour-matching, OH MY! These two had a blast finding all the parts to this Valentine's Day scavenger hunt puzzle.

The pieces can be kept & found in the bin or hidden around your space for an added challenge & new level of fun!

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 - 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 & 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴.

Materials:

• paper roll

• masking / painters tape

• red paper pieces

• faux flowers & petals

• foam hearts, different sizes

• little red craft cubes

• red popsicle sticks

• pink pom poms

• cotton balls

» roll out paper & draw out a legend for sorting the pieces in the bin — emphasis on size (big & small) and colour (red, pink, white) and counting

» pick a piece from the bin, place on it's spot on the paper

» once all the pieces have been found and sorted, sort into colour families at the end
